![]() Dr. Agostino Goretti Operative Manager
Agostino Goretti holds a M.Sc. in Civil Engineering (1986) and Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from University of Rome "La Sapienza" (1992). He has been involved in structural analysis design and strengthening and retrofitting of bridges and buildings since 1987. He was member of the National Seismic Survey, Department of National Technical Surveys from 1996 to 2000. He is member of the Seismic Risk Office of the Italian Civil Protection Department since 2002, where he is involved in seismic damage and vulnerability assessment and risk assessment and mitigation. He served as contract professor at the Faculty of Architecture, "L. Quaroni", University of Rome, "La Sapienza" (course: Design of Structures) from 2000 to 2004, and at the Faculty of Engineering (course: Engineering Seismology) at University of Rome III from 2004 to 2008. Goretti participated in national and international conferences in the field of Structural Engineering. He also participated in several national and international projects on seismic risk mitigation (e.g., Radius, Enserves, Lessloss, Trema, Tripod, Step), and was involved as EU expert in the missions to Indonesia and the PDNA in Haiti. He is also author of about 80 papers published on national or international congresses, journals, technical reports and books. |
